Three gestures, one single moment

Duplicating a page to create a variant, moving a service up in a list, creating a news item: these are three different things, but they happen at the exact same moment — the one when you are filling out a website. Grouping them together avoids installing three plugins that don’t talk to each other.

What the duplication takes with it

The title, content, excerpt, all custom fields including repeaters and flexible content, taxonomies, featured image, page templates — and, with Pro, child content if there is any. What it doesn’t take: the publication date, comments, and status — the copy is born as a draft, never online by accident.

Order is a site property

Reordering writes the order into the field WordPress provides for that, not into a separate table. If the module is disabled one day, the saved order remains: a theme that sorts by this order continues to follow it.
